Take control of your energy bills with Solar PV Panels, Solar Energy Battery Storage and an Air Source Heat Pump.
We design, integrate and maintain renewable energy systems for both home and commercial energy production
We provide solar panel system design, solar panel installation, solar panel servicing and repairs
Whether it's a solar panel energy system for a home, or a commercial scale design and commission with ongoing M & E service managemnt - our engineers will deliver the range of solar energy and air source heat pump services needed. Our installations are independently assessed too, so you can be assured that your solar panel installation or air source heat pump central heating will work as efficiently and effectively, and with the aim to help you achieve a return on investment in as short a period, as possible.
Our prices make it affordable for you to generate, use, save and sell your own energy too ! Look at the example below, we currently offer :
... A 3.2kw Trina solar PV panel system from £5400
... With a solar energy battery storage system from £9995
... Add a solar iboost water heating diverter from £595
All prices quoted are as supplied and installed. Panels include a 15 year warranty
From April 2022 to 2027, solar panels are VAT exempt to homeowner purchases
A solar panel installation on a typical residential roof would take no longer than two days but can often be completed in one day. Slate roofs require more care to be taken so can take a little longer. It will take around 3-4 hours to install a solar energy storage battery to the solar PV panel system.

ARRANGE A SOLAR PANEL SURVEY WITH US
We can help to assess your energy consumption profile, provide recommendations for the optimum system size to reduce your energy bills by the maximum amount that the roof space will allow, then design a solar panel system to your exact specifications. We’ll also run you through the benefits of buying solar panels in the present climate, as well as highlighting any issues you should be aware of from the beginning. Our consultation for solar panel installations can include option to install a battery and/or EV point as well.
Our survey will provide you with all asssociated physical and estimated costs, saving projections and installation options - with no obligation to proceed. The visit will be undertaken by an engineering manager - we do not use salespeople.
How to Maximise Your Solar PV Panel System Investment
A solar photovoltaic (PV) panel system is a renewable energy technology which converts the energy from the sun into electricity, which can then be used in the property. An inverter helps to convert direct current produced, to alternating current, then surplus generated energy is either exported to the National Grid or can be stored in a battery energy storage system. There are further installation options including adding an EV point for a car or motorcycle, or include a water heating diverter, which will calculate when generated energy can be used to heat your water without impacting the generated electricity being used elsewhere. Also if you have smart controls, you'll be able to make sure appliances like your washing machine, dishwasher, and electric vehicle only charge using solar power, which will help reduce bills too!
Panels can be retrofitted onto most roofs or on a ground framework for larger installations, and should be mounted at an angle of 30°- 40° . Roofs suitable for solar PV panels will be south facing, although east/ west orientations can still work. They should have no shading from buildings, trees etc during the daytime between 10am - 4pm. The inverter should also be placed close to the solar panels to minimise transmission losses.
Solar PV equipment has no moving parts and requires minimal maintenance although occasional cleaning may be necessary. Most manufacturers will guarantee panels for at least 25 years, but do be aware that there may be a need to replace the inverter unit midway through a system’s lifetime.
You generally won't need planning permission. In England and Wales, the Government's Planning Portal says that panels are likely to be considered as 'permitted development' – meaning you don't usually need to apply for planning permission. The big exceptions are if your property has a flat roof, is listed or is in a conservation area. In these cases, you might need to get approval from your council's building control team, so check with your local authority.
